Est. $6,500-$7,500 Demi Moore's (Vivian) "Bobby" 1960s Cream Empire Maxi Dress & Matching Cape W/COA - This costume was worn by actress Demi Moore, as she portrayed the character "Vivian" in the 2006 Biopic film “Bobby”. The two-piece ensemble consists of a 1960s cream cashmere wool cape and silk chiffon gown with faux pearl, gem, and sequined detail along the neckline of both garments. Demi Moore wore this ensemble while filming the scene in the end of the film where Robert F. Kennedy gives his acceptance speech for winning the 1968 election for U.S. Senator, and Vivian is performing on stage during the final stages of the election. The ensemble will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity from costume house who provided the dress for the production. “Bobby” was written and directed by actor Emilio Estevez, who also played the character Tim. The film tells the story of the people who experienced the hours leading up to and the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy at the Ambassador Hotel in Hollywood California. The all-star cast included Martin Sheen, Harry Belafonte, Anthony Hopkins, William H. Macy, Sharon Stone, Demi Moore, Shia Lebouf, Ashton Kutcher, and Lindsay Lohan. The film was nominated for the Golden Globe Award in the category of Best Motion Picture Drama. Please note: There is slight moth damage to the base of the cape and discoloration due to age.
