Est. $3,500-$4,000 Carrera y Carrera Solid 18K Yellow Gold & 0.25ctw VVS1-VVS2/F-G Diamond 18" Cherub Necklace - This beautiful piece was finely crafted by Carrera y Carrera, of solid 18k yellow gold. The necklace measures approx. 18" long, and is finished with a suspended, 1" cherub pendant. The cherub holds a 0.20ct (approximate) VVS1-VVS2/F-G round-cut diamond, and is also decorated with diamond accents on the wings. This piece was very well thought out, as the cherub is finished in a divine matte gold, with locks of hair which are a vibrant polished gold, accenting the piece beautifully. The designer's use of both matte and polished finishes truly shows the spectacular craftsmanship that is synonymous with this fine luxury brand. The necklace is signed with the Carrera y Carrera hallmark, gold purity, and unique serial number. Carrera y Carrera is an icon of gold craftsmanship and jewelry artisanship, and creates each piece in its workshops as if it were a small work of art. Each piece is meticulously crafted in a series of labor intensive steps as if creating a sculpture, using the lost wax casting method.
