Dupont Limited Edition Murder on the Orient Express Ligne 2 Lighter & Paper Cutter Set W/Sun Burst Brown Chinese Lacquer in Original Box in Mint Condition (Never Used or Displayed) #801/888 From a Vietnamese Royal Family - This handsome ligne 2 lighter is a rare, limited edition lighter created by S.T. Dupont. This "Murder on the Orient Express" lighter and paper cutter set was inspired by the film, based on the novel by Agatha Christie. Taking inspiration from the Orient Express breathtaking sense of style and luxurious way of traveling, S.T. Dupont has created limited edition product that is symbolic in representation of the Princess Dragomiroff room and the S.T. Dupont trunk case used by her in the film. The trunk case has been transformed into an exceptional lighter and paper cutter, signifying the 145 years of know-how of S.T. Dupont. The lighter together with the paper cutter inspired by the murder weapon made of bronze and yellow gold finishes, give life to the legendary Murder on the Orient Express investigation. The creations are beautifully placed in a theatrical pack showcasing the cabin of the princess. The lighter is made of brass with a heavy 18k yellow gold finish, and has a stunning Chinese lacquer in the most innovative lacquering effect, the sun burst, with shades of intense brown to pale brown. The set is in mint condition, as it has never been fired, used, displayed or otherwise handled. The piece still has the factory protective plastic attached, and will come with everything as it was originally shipped from the factory, including the original black lacquer box, outer carton box, certificates and warranty card. This is truly a must have in any fine lighter collection, as it is a sold out, limited edition piece. The lighter is numbered 801/888. This piece comes from the estate of a Vietnamese Royal Family (the family now lives in the United States, and wishes to remain private).
