The piece is from Carrera y Carrera's "Bestiario" collection, and has a fiercely ornate design that is truly incomparable. The necklace is a 34" brown ribbon with solid 18K gold ends and clasps (original to the piece), from which hangs a magnificent, solid 18k yellow gold 5.50" serpent pendant. The piece shows stunning attention to detail, and you can almost see the fluid movement of the serpent. The designer's use of both matte and polished finishes truly shows the spectacular craftsmanship that is synonymous with this fine luxury brand. The ribbon necklace is finished with a solid 18k yellow gold 16.5mm barrel clasp, which is truly a work of art in itself.
