The oat branch is made of solid 84 Russian silver (the Russian Pre-Revolution standard for Silver), which has been gold washed for a very eye catching effect. The piece bears the work master_s mark of _B.A._ for Viktor Aarne, "K.F." (in Cyrillic), and "84" (Russian Silver Standard).
