The sapphire is set in an 18k rose gold 4-prong setting, to best display its beautiful orangy-pink color. The ring is then finished with approx. 2.50ctw VS1-VS2/G-H round and marquise-cut diamonds which create a cluster around the sapphire. The diamonds are fiery white and stunningly eye clean, and this ring truly exhudes beauty and sophistication. This piece has excellent investment potential, as Padparadscha Sapphires are among the rarest gems on the planet. They are strikingly beautiful and almost no other colored gemstone compares to their unique mix of pink and orange. Padparadscha sapphires may be little known to the general public, but they are treasured by gemstone connoisseurs. This stunning gemstone has a lovely, orangy-pink color with a strong saturation. It is unusual to find Padparadscha Sapphires above 2 carats, and a stone this quality can bring prices up to $30,000 or more per carat. The sapphire shows "no indications of heating" according to the GIA report. This piece will come with the full GIA report that is dated 2017. If you would like a full copy of the report emailed to you, please email: brigitte@gwsauctions.com. The table of the ring measures approx. 26.5mm x 14.5mm, and the band measures 2.3mm wide. The band is stamped with a French export mark. Ring size: 7. (WEIGHT: 7.6 grams) Please note: This piece will come with a $60,500 appraisal by a graduate appraiser in the winning bidder's name for insurance purposes.
