Elsa Peretti joined Tiffany in 1974, and her organic, sensual forms revolutionized jewelry design and seduced the world. Her revolutionary designs allow us to see everyday objects, such as a bean, apple, or snake, in intriguing new ways. She is credited with giving sterling silver its pride of place in jewelry design and creating diamond jewelry that is wearable every day. This open heart necklace is one of Elsa Peretti's most celebrated icons. The piece is made of solid 18k yellow gold, and has a 17.5mm x 21mm open heart pendant which hangs on a 16" chain. The pendant is embellished with approx. 0.55ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G round-cut diamonds, which finish the piece beautifully. The back of the pendant is fully signed with the Tiffany & Co. and Elsa Peretti signatures, along with the gold purity and assay marks. (WEIGHT: 4.8 grams)
