Est. $8,000-$8,500 3.85ct Near Flawless Square Step-Cut Mexican Fire Opal & Solid Platinum Ring W/0.25ctw VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond Accents (W/$8500 Appraisal) - This goregous ring was finely crafted of solid platinum, and boasts a magnificent, 3.85ct near flawless Mexican Fire Opal. The opal is a square step-cut, and has a stunning fiery vibrant orange color with a unique glowing quality, and you would almost think that it would glow in the dark. This rare gemstone is created in the ancient Mexican volcanoes, when water seeps into the flowing lava, and is becoming increasingly harder to come by. The ring has an 18mm square shaped table, which is decorated with approx. 0.25ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G round-cut diamond accents. The diamonds are mounted between a chevron design, which has a matte gold finish that brings out the brilliant white color of the diamonds beautifully. The band measures approx. 4mm wide.
