Est. $18,000-$19,000 Chanel Demi Couture 2007 Fall/Winter Black Velvet Evening Dress W/Ornate Beading - This stunning Demi Couture evening dress by Chanel has an ornate beaded star design. The elegance of this evening dress begins with goregous silver stars and beads on the net bodice and ruffled net slip at the bottom, simulating the night sky. Hundreds of more softly shining stars are woven into the dress, which is constructed of 85% cotton and 15% metallic black velvet. The back buttons are ornate in themselves, as they are black stars embellished with rhinestones. This goregous dress was requested (not released) for a museum exhibition at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Marked size: FR 34. Measurements: length-39" (99 cm), bust-34" (86 cm), waist-30" (76 cm), hip-36" (91 cm). Please note: all measurements are approximate.
