Est. $10,000-$11,000 Chanel Demi Couture 2001 Fall/Winter Wool & Sequin Full Length Evening Coat/Gown - This luscious ensemble from Chanel's Fall 2001 collection includes a full length coat and matching full length sleeveless dress. The entire front of the dress is embellished with solid sequins from the collar to the hem, across the full width of the piece. It has a subtle verticle pattern of lighter colored sequins, which adds a beautiful dimention to the piece. The dress also has a 19" slit which goes of the left side of the piece. The main fabric this ensemble is 82% wool and 18% silk, and the main lining is 100% silk ecru satin with a camellia pattern. There is also a secondary lining which is ecru solid 82% polyester and 18% silk crepe. This is truly a goregous and elegant evening ensemble for a woman of any age, and has a timeless look that is sure to never go out of style. This is an incredibly rare piece, and is thought to have been one of the most important pieces of Chanel's 2001 Fall collection. This ensemble was worn at an Annual Oregon Consular Corps Formal Dinner. Marked size: FR36.
