Est. $5,000-$7,000 Con Air (1997, Starring: Nicolas Cage) Screen Used Prop Stuffed Bunny W/COA- This incredible piece is a screen used prop stuffed bunny, used in the filming of the 1997 American action film "Con Air". This bunny is seen throughout the movie, as it belonged to Cameron Poe, played by Nicolas Cage. Poe is an honorably discharged Army Ranger, who is sentanced to ten years in prison for manslaughter, after killing a drunken man who tried to attack his pregnant wife. While imprisoned he has to communicate with his newborn daughter solely through letters. Eight years later, he is paroled and to fly out to Alabama onboard the Jailbird, a transport prison aircraft, along with dangerous inmates who are to be transferred to a supermax prison. The bunny, which was purchased by Poe for his newborn daughter, whom he has not yet met, is seen in iconic scenes such as when the movie's villian (played by John Malkovich) holds the bunny with a gun to it's head and says "don't move or the bunny gets it" (a well known quote from the film). Another well known scene which features the bunny is when Billy (played by Nick Chinlund) discovers Poe's identity as a free man after searching through his things and finding his parole letter. Poe comes upon Billy and tells him to "put the bunny back into the box" (another iconic quote from the film), and is forced to kill Billy when he refuses to listen. The film was a box office hit, and grossed $224,012,234 worldwide. The bunny measures approx. 12" in length, and is in original condition. The piece will also come with a certificate of authenticity.
