Est. $30,000-$30,500 12.40ct Near Flawless Checkerboard Faceted Trillion-Cut Rubellite, 1.55ctw VS1-VS2/G-H Diamond & Solid Platinum Deco Style 18" Necklace (W/$30,500 Appraisal) - This stunning piece was finely crafted of solid platinum, and has a Deco Style design. The pendant measures approx. 1.25" long, and contains a gorgeous, 12.40ct (approximate) near flawless Rubellite that is a unique, tapered trillion cut. The Rubellite has beautiful vertical banded, checkerboard facets, making this piece very labor intensive. The pendant has a heavy, luxurious feel and is accented with 1.55ctw genuine VS1-VS2/G-H diamonds. The pendant hangs on an 18", solid platinum chain. This is a true investment piece, as rubellite is one of the most popular gems on the market today, and this particular rubellite is a true raspberry color, with little to no color shift. Rubellites of this size are becoming harder and harder to come by, and when you can find them, they are usually grainy and heavily included. These types of tourmalines can usually only be found in upper-end or collector's markets.
