The brooch was created in 1969 by Tiffany & Co., to celebrate the Illinois Masonic Medical Center and the W. Clement Stone Pavilion and First Moon Landing. The brooch is made of solid 14k yellow gold, and has Buzz Aldrin's signature and footprint replicated in a bed of blue enamel with golden stars. This limited edition piece marks an incredible monument in human history with the quote "A Giant Stride For Mankin" engraved on the back of the piece. The brooch is also stamped with the Tiffany & Co. hallmark, gold purity, and dated 1969. The brooch is also numbered "224". This piece is extremely rare, and we believe this is the only one of its kind available for sale in the entire world. The piece is in near mint condition, and will come with a Tiffany & Co. felt pouch. The brooch measures 1" in diameter. (WEIGHT: 15.8 grams)
