Est. $2,250-$2,750 Gucci Solid 18K White Gold & 1.40ctw Amethyst Cabochon 17" Drop Necklace (Retired Piece) - This lovely necklace was made by Gucci, and was finely crafted of solid 18k white gold. The necklace measures approx. 17" long, and is decorated with approx. 1.40ctw genuine amethyst cabochons. The necklace has a 3.5" suspended drop chain, which contains (4) 0.20ct (approximate) amethyst cabochons. At the top of the piece, the lobster clasp hangs around a 2" extender which is also embellished with (3) 0.20ct amethyst cabochons, so that the necklace can be worn at different lengths. The piece is stamped on the inside of the band with the Gucci Made in Italy logo, along with the gold purity and Italian assay mark. This is a rare, retired design which is no longer in production. These retired designer pieces have proven to become the best quality investment pieces, as they are incredibly difficult to find, and highly sought after by collectors around the globe. The necklace is in beautiful condition, and looks as though it has hardly been worn. (WEIGHT: 6.2 grams)
