Est. $15,000-$15,500 Carrera y Carrera Solid 18K Yellow Gold & VVS Diamond Garzas Medium Necklace (From The Seda Imperial Collection) in Carrera y Carrera Gift Box - This stunning piece was finely crafted by Carrera y Carrera, of solid 18k yellow gold. The necklace measures 18" long, and is finished with a 3.5" diamond embellished Heron pendant. This necklace is a part of Carrera's Seda Imperial Collection, inspired by the Manila shawl, a completely artisanal garment originally from China, hand-embroidered in natural silk with skill and dexterity. This Garzas necklace was inspired by the herons embroidered on Manila shawls, and the artisan goldsmiths at Carrera y Carrera elevate this figurative element to its maximum splendor. The pendant is finished with approx. 0.75ctw genuine VVS1-VVS2/F-G pave-set diamonds, and delicate tassles at the end of the heron's feathers. The use of both matte and polished finishes adds a lovely touch of dimention, and the exquisite attention to detail is nothing short of what you would expect from Carrera's master artisans. The necklace is signed with the Carrera y Carrera hallmark, gold purity, and unique serial number. Carrera y Carrera is an icon of gold craftsmanship and jewelry artisanship, and creates each piece in its workshops as if it were a small work of art. Each piece is meticulously crafted, in a series of labor intensive steps.
