Art Deco Solid Sterling Silver & 14K Yellow Gold Compact W/Ruby Accents in Red Felt Pouch - This stunningly rare piece was made by Tiffany & Co., and was finely crafted of solid sterling silver. The piece was made in the 1920s, and has a lovely, art deco design. The compact has a square shape, and is engraved with a sun-ray design on the front of the piece, and repeating straight lines on the back. The front edge of the compact is embellished with a solid 14k yellow gold accent, which is set with approx. 0.30ctw genuine near flawless rubies. The inside of the compact has a plate that opens up with a push button, and reveals the space where the powder can be kept, and underneath the lid has a highly reflective finish which you can view yourself in. This is an ultra rare piece which is incredibly hard to find. These vintage designer pieces have proven to become the best quality investment pieces, as they are incredibly difficult to find, and highly sought after by collectors around the globe. The inside of the lid is signed "Tiffany & Co. Sterling 14K". The compact is in original condition, and is in good condition for its age. The piece measures approx. 2.25"L x 2.25"W x 9.5mm thick.
