Est. $2,200-$2,500 Antique Chinese Mother of Pearl Chinese Gambling Counter Brooch W/Seed Pearl Accents (One of a Kind) Has Maker's Mark (One of a Kind) - This unique, one of a kind piece is made of solid 14k yellow gold, and contains an 1800s Chinese gambling token that has been split in two pieces to create each side of the brooch. The token is genuine mother of pearl and was expertly hand carved with geometrical and foliate details. The center of the brooch has a domed accent flanked by "pillars" on each side, and finished with genuine seed pearls (approx. 2mm-3mm). This is truly a unique and rare piece, as mother of pearl is extremely brittle and would often crack or break. The back of the piece is stamped with country export marks, and is also stamped "14k".
