Est. $20,000-$22,000 Faberge 84 Silver & Salmon Pink Guilloche Enamel Barometer *Work Master A.N. (Antti Nevalainen)* - This piece is made of solid 84 Russian Silver (the Pre-Revolution Russian standard for silver), and is brilliantly designed with a vibrant salmon pink guilloche enamel that has a beautiful iridescence to it, and finishes the piece beautifully. The barometer rests on a footed base, and a rotating bezel. The piece bears the work master's mark "A.N." for Antti Nevalainen, who worked with Faberge from 1885-1917, and was known for his works being inspired by Swedish designs, hence the amazing attention to detail. The piece is also marked "Faberge" (in Cyrillic), 84 (Russian silver standard), and a round kokoshnik (for St. Petersburg 1908-1917). The piece measures approx. 4" in diameter x 2"H. (WEIGHT: 276.3 grams) Please note: there is a small, 11mm (approximate) high quality repair in the enamel at the base of the piece, with visible remanence. Please see photos.
