Est. $25,500-$27,000 Faberge 2.80ctw Mine Cut Diamond, Platinum & 72 Gold Ladies Ring W/Plique-A-Jour Enamel *Work Master A*H (August Hollming)* in Faberge Leather Casket - This magnificent ring contains 2.80ctw genuine VS2-SI1/H-J old mine cut diamonds, and is made of solid 72 gold (Pre-Revolution Russian standard for 18K Gold) and platinum. The ring has a unique, layered design, as the band is made of solid 72 gold, followed by a solid platinum panel decorated with Plique-A-Jour enamel, and finished with the diamonds set in 72 gold. The center diamond is approx. 1.60ct, and the four accent diamonds at each corner are approx. 0.30ct each. This is a stunningly rare, one of a kind piece. This piece is truly one of the highest investment quality Faberge rings we have seen in quite some time, as the diamonds are stunningly eye clean for mine cuts. The enamel work is in excellent, near mint condition and features a variety of blues, pinks, and greens that create the gallery of the piece and also decorate the band. The piece bears the work master's mark "A*H" of August Hollming, and is also hallmarked with "K.F" (in Cyrillic), and 72 (Russian gold standard). August Hollming was a Faberge work master who was active from 1880 to 1913, and was then followed by his son Vaino Hollming. The ring is in beautiful condition, and will come housed in a Faberge leather casket. Ring size: 7.5. (WEIGHT: 18.9 grams)
