Est. $30,000-$32,000 Faberge 84 Silver & Rock Crystal Large Barocco Box *Work Master HW (Henrik Wingstrom)* - This stunning and rare find is a solid rock crystal and 84 silver hinged box, with a Barocco motif. The box was made in Faberge's St. Petersburg workshop, by work master Henrik Wingstrom. The box is made of rock crystal which was then mounted with the solid 84 silver (pre-revolution Russian standard for silver) overlay. The box bears the work master's mark "HW" for Henrik Wingstrom, who was active from 1903 to 1917 and inherited the Perkhin workshop after the death of his friend. Wingstrom became the third and last senior workmaster responsible for most of the Tsar Imperial Easter eggs for the years 1904-1917. The box also bears the Imperial Russian Warrant, "84" Russian silver standard (St. Petersburg 1908-1917). The box measures approx. 8.5"L x 6"W x 2.5"H, and is in beautiful condition.
