Est. $11,000-$11,500 Cartier 1940s 0.65ctw Ruby, 0.50ctw VS1-VS2/G-H Diamond, 18K & Platinum Seashell Brooch W/5.5mm Pearl Accent - This stunning brooch was made by Cartier, and was finely crafted of solid 18k yellow gold. The brooch is in the form of a seashell, and has a concave, ridged design surmounted by a 5.5mm iridescent pearl accent. The piece is topped by a fancy-shaped panel, set with approx. 0.65ctw genuine rubies. The brooch is then finished with approx. 0.50ctw genuine VS1-VS2/G-H single-cut diamonds, which are set in solid platinum to best display their radiant white color. The rubies are a deep, bright raspberry red color, the diamonds are fiery white, and the pearl has a creamy and clean, iridescent luster. The brooch is signed "Cartier" and is stamped with the gold purity "750". The brooch measures approx. 1.75"L x 1.5"W, and is in beautiful condition. (WEIGHT: 25.7 grams)
