Est. $3,250-$3,750 Chanel 0.35ctw VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond & 18K White Gold 16" Comete Necklace (From Retired Model's Estate) - This lovely piece was made by Chanel, and is made of solid 18k white gold. The necklace is from Chanel's Comete collection, and has a 16" chain finished with a 12mm star pendant, embellished with approx. 0.35ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G diamonds. This is a highly sought after design, based on a creation by Lorenz Baumer. This piece is on back order, and is not available in all countries. The necklace bares the Chanel hallmark, gold purity, serial number, and is also stamped with a "STE" oval maker's stamp. This piece is referred to by Chanel as the "small" size Comete necklace. This piece comes from a famous model's estate, and she used it around the world while walking the runways (no provenance is provided, because she wishes to remain a private seller).
