Est. $16,000-$17,500 Faberge Solid 84 Russian Silver Burnt Red Guilloche Enamel Pill Box W/0.50ct Mine-Cut Diamond & Jeweled Cabochon Push Button in Box - This gorgeous piece is made of solid 84 Russian silver (Pre-Revolution standard for silver), and is finished with an absolutely stunning burnt red guilloche enamel. The outer edge is then styled with white enamel accents that is applied in a pattern. The bottom is marked "Faberge" in Crylic, "84" and bears the workmaster's initials. The piece has the workmaster mark "A.N" (Anders Nevalainen (1858-1933). Mr. Nevalainen is best known for his finishings of gold works, as it was he who did the gilt work on this piece. The piece is finished with high relief bands, and a stunning 0.50ct mine-cut diamond on the top of the piece. The box also has a jeweled push button release. You will never see another piece like this, and it is truly the highest of investment quality. Measures: 46mm x 51mm x 34mm.
