Est. $18,000-$20,000 Hermes 1970's Solid 18K Yellow Gold Lion Cub Brooch W/Genuine Emerald Eyes *Signed* (W/Horseshoe Marking & Maker's Marks) CELEBRITY OWNED/1 of a Kind - This iconic piece is the only one in existance, as it was custom made for a celebrity client and is one of a kind. It is made of solid 18K yellow gold, and was handmade by a master jeweler at Hermes in the 1970's. The eyes are genuine emeralds, and are set into the piece. The total carat weight of the near flawless emeralds is approximately 0.25ctw, and each is an elongated marquise-style cut. These emeralds are of the highest quality as they are a natural, lime green and are very clean. The cub itself has a textured 3-D design, and overall is a very high relief piece. The whiskers are strategically angled, and the entire piece is immaculately designed. This one of a kind piece is a true treasure, and is highly collectible. The inside of the brooch bears the "Horseshoe" mark. This mark indicates that it is a one of a kind, custom made piece. This marking is only used by Hermes on very important client pieces.
