Est. $15,000-$20,000 Vietnamese Treasure Recovered 16K-18K Gold Bar Pre-War (Buried for over 40 Years) 77.8 Grams - This very special and rare piece was hand poured and made out of solid 16K-18K gold. The family melted all of their gold jewelry, and buried it in the jungles of Vietnam for safe keeping during the fall of Saigon. The family eventually moved to the United States in the early 1980's. This bar remained buried for many years, and was just recently passed down to our seller as a part of her father's estate. Due to the conditions that the family endured, they wish to remain private so this piece is being sold without further information, or provenance. This piece is referred to as "The Blood of their Family." The bar has a mixed composition of 16K-18K gold, and has been electronically tested in several areas. The bar weighs: 77.8 Grams, and measures: 3.10" x 0.50" x 0.10" (approximately). This is a true investment piece, and belongs in a museum in Vietnam or in a private collection.
