The amazing opal displays a clean white background with high fire, and has very unique broad flash and floral pattern with green, blue, yellow, and orange flashes. This opal is truly near flawless, and is one of the highest quality pieces of opal we have seen come through our auction house in quite some time. Opals are one of the most brittle stones in the world, and stones of this size usually get broken, or damaged. This piece has absolutely no chips, or damage to the stone. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a doublet, this is a solid opal and is of the highest investment quality. The opal is surrounded by approx. 0.50ctw genuine SI1-SI2/G-H diamonds accenting the bale.
