The pendant shows stunning attention to detail, and depicts the Hindu godess Lakshmi. She sits atop a lotus flower, and is flanked by phoenix, elephant, and dragon details. Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth ,health ,fortune and prosperity. Her iconography shows her with four hands, which represent the four goals of human life considered important to the Hindu way of life: dharma, kama, artha, and moksha. The necklace measures 22" long, and the pendant measures 3.25"W x 2.5" long. The pearls measure approx. 4.5mm each, and have a beautiful golden irridescence. This is a true investment piece, and has a heavy and luxurious feel. The back of the pendant is stamped with a designer maker's mark. (WEIGHT: 102.5 grams)
