Each ingots weighs 1000 grains (approx. 66 grams) of solid sterling silver, is fully hallmarked, and is exquisitely engraved with the modern monarchs of the sea in great detail. The reverse includes the ship's speed, tonnage, length and width, plus the official emblem of the shipping line which operates it. This is truly an amazing, investment quality collector's set. This set is extremely rare, as it was a Franklin Mint Collectors Society exclusive. The ingots come housed in the original attractive wooden case forrest green crushed velvet interior, and protective clear plastic cover.
