Starting at $1.00

Status: No sale

Est. $7,000-$10,000 The Beach Boys Dennis Wilson (age 31) on the Drums NEVER BEFORE SEEN Photo Slide in Plaza Hotel Envelope W/Milton Love's Typed Notes on It - This slide is from the estate of Milton Love, and were discovered in a drawer of a dresser that was purchased. These photos have never been released or seen by anyone outside of the Love/Wilson families. Milton Love is the father of one of the most famous Beach Boys, Mike Love (AKA Dr. Love). The slide is a never before released photo of Dennis Wilson at age 31 playing the drums (as stated on the envelope by Milton Love). We will not be showing photographs of the slides to maintain their value as "Unreleased Photos". These items were never meant for release, as the family always assumed that someone had cleaned out the drawers of the dresser prior to selling it. The Beach Boys are America's biggest band, and are rock n' roll legends. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a legendary piece of iconic history that no one else has ever seen, and was thought to be lost forever. We have only photographed the envelopes with the slide(s) inside, as the new buyer will be the owner of the photograph and will have the choice to release it, or not. There has never been anything like this offered at auction. We have personally spoken with a representative for The Beach Boys, and they confirmed that this is part of the "Milton Love Lost Collection." All photo negatives are available for private viewing (by appointment only), you may schedule an appointment by emailing: Brigitte@gwsauctions.com. All previews will require a signed "Non-Disclosure" prior to viewing.
