Est. $30,000-$35,000 The Beach Boys 1970's NEVER BEFORE SEEN (6) Photo Slides in Envelope W/Milton Love's Typed Notes on Envelope *Includes Never Before Seen Group Photo* - These six slides are from the estate of Milton Love, and were discovered in a drawer of a dresser that was purchased at an estate sale. These photos have never been released or seen by anyone outside of the Love/Wilson families. Milton Love is the father of one of the most famous Beach Boys, Mike Love (AKA Dr. Love). These SIX slides are never before released photos of Dennis Wilson, Brian Wilson Carl Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine. These pictures are truly amazing, and include intimate home photos of several members as well as a group shot of The Beach Boys that was taken in the 1970's, and has never been seen. There are photos taken at the beach, on a hillside with a rainbow in the background, a photo in front of what appears to be a museum, photos taken outside of their home and of course the amazing group shot. The envelope has handwriting on it that says "Brian Good", in what appears to be Brian Wilson's handwriting (when compared to other handwritten documents we have that were written by Mr. Wilson). We will not be showing photographs of the slides to maintain their value as "Unreleased Photos". These items were never meant for release, as the family always assumed that someone had cleaned out the drawers of the dresser prior to selling it. The Beach Boys are America's biggest band, and are rock n' roll legends. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a legendary piece of iconic history. We have only photographed the envelopes with the slide(s) inside, as the new buyer will be the owner of the photograph and will have the choice to release it, or not. There has never been anything like this offered at auction. We have personally spoken with a representative for The Beach Boys, and they confirmed that this is part of the "Milton Love Lost Collection." All photo negatives are available for private viewing (by appointment only), you may schedule an appointment by emailing: Brigitte@gwsauctions.com. All previews will require a signed "Non-Disclosure" prior to viewing.
