Est. $30,000-$35,000 The Beach Boys 1968 NEVER BEFORE SEEN (4) Photo Slides in Envelope W/Milton Love's Typed Notes on Envelope *Includes Never Before Seen Group Photo & Concert Shots* - These three slides, and single negative are from the estate of Milton Love, and were discovered in a drawer of a dresser that was purchased at an estate sale. These photos have never been released or seen by anyone outside of the Love/Wilson families. Milton Love is the father of one of the most famous Beach Boys, Mike Love (AKA Dr. Love). These three slides, and single negative are never before released photos of Dennis Wilson, Brian Wilson and Mike Love. These pictures are truly amazing, and include intimate home photos of several members as well as a group shot of Mike Love, Dennis Wilson & Brian Wilson (and others) that was taken in the 1960's, and has never been seen. There are photos taken outside of a tent (with a shirtless Dennis Wilson) in a "party" setting, a 1960's negative of a young Dennis Wilson, a concert photo of Mike Love and a concert photo of a young Dennis Wilson in very unique clothing. The slides and negative are in a Hotel Byblos envelope, and has Milton Love's personal typed notes on it. We will not be showing photographs of the slides to maintain their value as "Unreleased Photos". These items were never meant for release, as the family always assumed that someone had cleaned out the drawers of the dresser prior to selling it. The Beach Boys are America's biggest band, and are rock n' roll legends. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a legendary piece of iconic history. We have only photographed the envelopes with the slide(s) inside, as the new buyer will be the owner of the photograph and will have the choice to release it, or not. There has never been anything like this offered at auction. We have personally spoken with a representative for The Beach Boys, and they confirmed that this is part of the "Milton Love Lost Collection." All photo negatives are available for private viewing (by appointment only), you may schedule an appointment by emailing: Brigitte@gwsauctions.com. All previews will require a signed "Non-Disclosure" prior to viewing.
