Est. $3,500-$4,500 The Beach Boys Brian Wilson 1977 NEVER BEFORE SEEN (1) Photo Slide in Envelope W/Milton Love's Typed Notes on Envelope - This single negative is from the estate of Milton Love, and was discovered in a drawer of a dresser that was purchased at an estate sale. These photos have never been released or seen by anyone outside of the Love/Wilson families. Milton Love is the father of one of the most famous Beach Boys, Mike Love (AKA Dr. Love). This single negative is a never before been released photo of Brian Wilson in the backyard of his Bel Air home. Brian Wilson has a lovely smile in the photo, and is in a Hotel Byblos envelope that has Milton Love's personal typed notes on it. We will not be showing photographs of the slides to maintain their value as "Unreleased Photos". These items were never meant for release, as the family always assumed that someone had cleaned out the drawers of the dresser prior to selling it. The Beach Boys are America's biggest band, and are rock n' roll legends. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a legendary piece of iconic history. We have only photographed the envelopes with the slide(s) inside, as the new buyer will be the owner of the photograph and will have the choice to release it, or not. There has never been anything like this offered at auction. We have personally spoken with a representative for The Beach Boys, and they confirmed that this is part of the "Milton Love Lost Collection." All photo negatives are available for private viewing (by appointment only), you may schedule an appointment by emailing: Brigitte@gwsauctions.com. All previews will require a signed "Non-Disclosure" prior to viewing.
