One of the photos still has the photographer's post-it note on it, as these photos have not been touched since she passed away. Aaliyah unfortunately passed away before these photos coulb be used, as she passed in a tragic plane crash right after these photos were taken. This was said to be her last photo shoot. After these photos were taken, and after her very unexpected passing, these photos ended up being left in NYC to collect dust after Virgin Music closed their office. As a parting gift, our seller was given these photos as an exclusive gift, and a piece of iconic R&B history. These photos are simply stunning, and show Aaliyah's true beauty. She truly was one of the most beautiful women of her time. She also paved the way for performers like Brittany Spears, Nicki Minaj, Lil' Kim, Alicia Keys and so many other performers we love today. Each photo measures: 13.75" x 11". Aaliyah items never come up for auction, and many of her most personal items have been kept by friends and family. There has been much controversy surrounding her estate, that you almost never see items related to our beloved Aaliyah. Aailiyah was best known for her work with Missy Elliot and Timbaland. These photos are so special, because it was after the alligations of her marrying R. Kelly at the age of young age of 15 that caused her to part ways from Jive Records, and move to Virgin Music. It is said that that decision changed her life. This is a super rare find, and we have broken up the stunning collection of her photos with hopes that more people can enjoy them. The photos are printed on AGFA Prestige Paper. All of these photos were said to be used for the album "Aaliyah"
