The piece is made of solid silver, has 55ctw genuine African Opal, 2.50ctw genuine VS/G-H diamonds and 40.25ctw of genuine red pear coral. The quality of the materials used to make this piece are among the best we have ever seen. The opal has a magnificent play of color, and the diamonds are strategically set throughout the piece. The opals range from 5mm-11.5mm in diameter each, and the red coral range from 4.5mm-7.10mm each. This massive piece was made for the grandaughter of the Empress of Vietnam, as she admired similar pieces on a runway, so a designer made this piece and the piece in the lot below just for her.
