Est. $5,500-$6,250 Imperial Russian Solid 56 Gold 0.50ctw Genuine Mine-Cut Diamonds & 0.50ct Near Flawless Pink Tourmaline Brooch (W/Scratch Marks) - This stunning piece is made of solid 56 yellow gold (The Pre-Revolution Russian standard for 14K gold). This magnificent piece came from the Maloof estate. The Maloof family is a very affluent family, as they own the Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and are documented Billionaires. This piece was very important to Mr. Maloof prior to his passing in 2012. He traveled the world, and held this piece very dear to his heart. The center tourmaline is a natural, TRULY near flawless mine-cut tourmaline. A mine-cut Tourmaline of any size is near impossible to find, and this one is a full HALF CARAT, it is truly the most magnificent tourmaline that we have ever seen. The piece is then finished with genuine mine-cut diamonds, that truly finish the piece. This design was a very popular early 1900's design that was used by many Russian jewelers such as Faberge. The piece has scratch marks "8131-15 M|X|R" and Measures: 48mm x 11.5mm (Weighs: 5.6 Grams). It appears that the pin part is not made of solid gold, as it was tested and is not gold. The brooch itself is solid 56 gold.
