Est. $35,000-$40,000 Faberge Red, Green & Yellow 56 Gold Adorned Rock Crystal Box W/Diamonds (Made for Princess of Leuchtenberg)- This stunning piece is made of solid 56 red, yellow and green golds that make up the rims and foliate draped designs on this museum quality piece. The box itself is made of solid rock crystal, and was made for the Princess of Leuchtenberg, also known as "Princess Maria Maximilianovna." The top of the piece boasts her royal monogram, and is made of solid Russian silver. The monogram is adorned with genuine, mine-cut diamonds that truly finish the piece. There are (45) diamonds, each diamond measures: 1mm-6mm in diameters. The gold work is that of a master, as the draped details are in three different colors of gold. The piece is signed "Faberge" in Crylic, and is marked "56" (The Pre-Revolution Standard for 14K Gold). The piece is also marked "MP" in Crylic, meaning that the finish master for this piece was Michael Perchin. Mr. Perchin is best known for his finishings of gold works, as it was he who did the gold work on this piece. You will never see another piece like this, and it is truly the highest of investment quality and belongs in a museum.
