Est. $30,000-$35,000 Sabbadini 8.00ctw Near Flawless Burma Rubies, 1.25ctw VS1-VS2/F-G Diamond & Solid 18K Yellow Gold Brooch From a Beverly Hills Estate (Private Reserve Piece) - This gorgeous brooch was made by famed jeweler Sabbadini, and comes from an elite Beverly Hills estate. This brooch has a floral motif, and is made of solid 18k yellow gold. The brooch contains 8.00ctw genuine near flawless Burma Rubies, invisibly set in the Sabbadini style. The rubies are a stunning raspberry red color, and have a beautiful brightness about them. This is a true investment piece, as you cannot find rubies of this quality in today's market, due to the United States having a ban on the importation of Burma Rubies from Myanmar since 2003. The brooch is also adorned with 1.25ctw genuine VS1-VS2/F-G diamonds that are a stunning, fiery white color and look gorgeous against the high karat yellow gold and bright red color of the rubies. Sabbadini Jewelry was started in 1940 by Bruno Sabbadini, and is currently under the leadership of his son Alberto. They are based in the heart of Milan, and cater to high-end Milan privates. They are known as one of Italy's premier gioielliere (jeweler in Italian), and also have show rooms in NY and St. Moritz. This piece is an unsigned, private reserve piece made especially for our client (along with the following lot), and you will never see a piece like this again.
