The piece has amazing attention to detail. This is thought to be a one of a kind piece, as there were not many animal figurines that were made of this rare white material. Most figurines were made of nephrite, obsidian, jade and other forms of hard stones. This piece has very fine attention to detail, and each portion of the piece is embelished with life like incised details. You can see almost every hair of the mule in clear, and distinct detail, this truly is an amazing piece. Measures: 2" x 1.5". This piece does come in a wooden casket that was custom made for this piece by Faberge.
