Est. $20,000-$25,000 Faberge Solid White Chalcedony Elephant W/Solid 72 Gold & Ruby Cabochon Eyes in Faberge Casket - This stunning piece is made of solid white chalcedony, and has genuine ruby cabochon eyes that are set in solid 72 yellow gold (Pre-revolution Russian standard for 18K gold). The piece has amazing attention to detail. This is thought to be a one of a kind piece, as there were not many animal figurines that were made of this rare white material. Most figurines were made of nephrite, obsidian, jade and other forms of hard stones. This piece has very fine attention to detail, and each portion of the piece is embelished with life like incised details. Measures: 2.75"W x 2"H x 1"D. This piece does come in a wooden casket that was custom made for this piece by Faberge.
