Est. $4,000-$4,250 1337 (1958) Iran 1 Pahlavi Solid 90% Gold Coin in Solid 18K Yellow Gold 1.75" Pendant on Ornate 24" Solid 14K Yellow Gold Chain - This Persian coin is made of solid 90% gold, and is an Iranian 1 Pahlavi coin. The obverse reads: "Mohammad Reza Shaw Pahlavi Aryamehr the king of Iran" in Farsi, the mintage date, and left facing head of Pahlavi II. The reverse depicts the Pahlavi Crown and the lion and sun Pahlavi Coat of Arms. The coin is a rare coin, with only 665,000 minted. The coin is set in an ornate, 1.75" solid 18k yellow gold pendant with ornate wire work and cut out details. The pendant has an open back and can be worn to show either the coin's obverse or reverse. The pendant hangs on a beautiful, 2mm wide solid 14k yellow gold square link chain that measures 24" long and is adorned with coiled wire details intertwined with the links. The chain has a stunning high karat yellow color that matches with the pendant perfectly, and the coiled wire accents match nicely with the ornate wire work of the pendant. This piece is in excellent condition. Chain weighs: 15 grams. Pendant weighs: 14.4 grams.
