The dial is in excellent condition. The band is is great condition. The sapphire crystal is lightly scratched. The piece is in working condition, and keeps accurate time. The serial number on the top of the case is: 068468, according to Bob's Watches serial number lookup website, this watch dates from 1938-1954.
