Est. $1,250-$1,500 Solid 14K Yellow Gold & 0.65ctw Genuine Ruby Ladybug Brooch W/Genuine Blue Sapphire Eyes & Barked Gold Details - This unique piece is made of solid 14k yellow gold, and shows wonderful attention to detail. The brooch is in the form of a ladybug, and contains 0.65ctw genuine rubies flush set into the piece, creating the bugs spots. The bug has genuine blue sapphire eyes, and the wings and head have a barked gold finish while the body and legs are smoothed gold. This piece came from a famous model's estate who recently retired in Beverly Hills, and this was one of her favorite pieces. She took this piece to Paris and London and wore it during runway shows all over Europe in the 1970's. No provenance available (as she wishes to remain private). The brooch measures 1" long.
