Perfume Bottle Housed in Emerald Green Crystal Millenium Egg Compote W/Gilded Sterling Silver Mountings - This goregous piece was made by Faberge and is a beautiful emerald green crystal Millenium Egg compote, finished with gilded sterling silver mountings. The egg houses a limited edition, 2 oz. crystal bottle of Faberge's Princess Grace de Monaco perfume, topped by a hand cut and gilded green crystal stopper. Princess Grace de Monaco perfume was launched by Faberge in 1998 as a tribute to Princess Grace (actress Grace Kelly). The manufacturer who created these beautiful crystal pieces was the famed Cristalleries de Saint-Louis, who made these presentations in France, exclusively for Faberge. This piece was from an extremely limited edition of only 500, and is a Faberge collector's dream. The egg measures 9" high, and is stamped "Faberge" and with a "KB" workmasters mark. Please note: this piece was individually numbered from the edition of 500. The number was scratched into the piece next to the hallmarks, however, the number has worn off due to age.
