Est. $24,500-$28,000 Art Nouveau Imperial Russian Solid 56 Gold, Lime-Green Guilloche Enamel & Diamond "Rusalki" (Mermaid) Cufflinks - This is a pair of magnificent, Art Nouveau, imperial Russian gold cufflinks. They are made of solid Russian 56 (14k) yellow gold, and have a mermaid form bordered by scrolls. The arching bodies of the mermaids hold a genuine diamond between the hand and tail, centered in a sunburst, vibrant lime-green guilloche enamel background. These cufflinks display a rare, exceptional quality of artwork. They are in excellent condition, with no damage to the beautiful, bright, lime-green enamel. The cufflinks were made in Moscow between 1908-1917, and are hallmarked with workmaster master initials in Cyrillic ?BP? and 56 pre-revolution old Russian Gold standard (14k). They measure 1" long. (19 grams)
