The masterpiece truly is a one of a kind piece. The frame is draped with stunning foliate designs, and has an ivory back . The piece is then strategically embelished with mine-cut diamonds. This piece came from the estate of Ken Eberhardt. Mr. Eberhardt is not only one of the world's most dedicated experts on all things Faberge, he also had a very unique collection of Faberge master works. This piece sold at Christie's Auction in London in 1998. SImilar pieces have sold to some of Hollywood's "most elite" as Joan Rivers just bought a similar Faberge frame from auction for over $265,000. These pieces are of the highest investment quality, and are becoming harder to find. This item was also featured in their catalogue, which will also be sent to the winning bidder.
