Colonial Embroidered Memorial Sampler Dated 1827 W/Flowered Border in Heavy Birdseye Maple Frame - This piece is an early 19th century colonial memorial sampler, and is an extremely rare find. The piece was embroidered with pictures and passages, along with a lovely flowered border. The memorial is dedicated to Caroline Mason, and is dated 1827. The sampler is housed in a beautiful, heavy birdseye maple frame. The piece (including the frame) measures 24" x 20".
