Est. $2,200-$2,500 Late 1800's Solid Silver, Handmade 6mm Red Coral & Handpainted Enamel Foliate Motif Bib Necklace - This piece is made of solid silver, and has a gold washed tone. There are also hundreds of genuine 6mm red coral beads that make up this museum quality piece. The necklace itself has a lovely handmade filigree design that is held together with individual round "O" rings. The necklace is then finished with stunning bi-color enamel on the leaves of the bid partitions. This necklace is not missing any red coral, and there is only slight parts of the necklace that are missing enamel due to age. The piece is marked "925 & 59", as the piece has an approximate 8ct gold wash overlay. Necklace measures: 16" in length. The chain is 1/2" wide, and the foliate motif inserts measure: 1.75" x 1.25" EACH.
