Est. $4,000-$5,000 Phyllis Diller Personal Hand Written Thank You Note on One Page Floral Note Card - This piece is a personal, hand written thank you note from Phyllis Diller. The note is on a single page floral note card, and was written to thank the recipient for "her copy of the Streisand thing" that eight time Emmy award winning producer, Gary Smith sent her. The piece measures 6.05" x 4.50", and is in excellent condition. Phyllis Diller (1917-2012) was an American stand-up comedian, actress and voice artist. She was known for her exaggerated, cackling laugh, her self-deprecating humor, and her eccentric stage persona. She was one of the first female comics to become a household name in the U.S., and paved the way for Joan Rivers, Roseanne Barr, Ellen Degeneres, and others who credit her influence. This truly is an investment piece, and a piece of iconic history.
