The sketch depicts Wynette, in an all black suit embellished with rhinestones, with knee-high stilleto boots. The sketch is signed by Ret Turner in the lower left, and is also autographed by Tammy Wynette. The sketch measures 17" x 14" and is mounted on a 20" x 15" board. The piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Tammy Wynette (1942-1998) was a Grammy Award winning country singer, famous for her hit "Stand By Your Man." The song reached No. 1 on the country charts and No. 19 on the pop charts. From 1968-1970 Tammy Wynette won three consecutive Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year honors. Wynette was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1998. Ret Turner (1929-2016) was an American costume designer, known for dressing entertainment Icons such as Lucille Ball, Neil Diamond, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, and others. During his career he had 23 Emmy nominations and five wins.
