Est. $21,000-$68,000 1880-O Morgan Silver Dollar (90% Silver) MS65+ W/Rainbow Toning & Original Mint Luster *Proof Like* KEY DATE - Mintage: 5,305,000. This rare coin has been in a private coin vault for over 75 years and has not been put in to public trade. The coin has vivid details, sharp hair lines, and a beautiful rainbow toning on the obverse. This coin has a mirrored, proof like obverse and reverse, and a stunning cartwheel on the reverse. The breast feathers of the eagle have MS65+ details, and original mint luster is still present. The reeding on the outer edges of the obverse and reverse is the closest to perfect that we have ever seen. The buyer of this coin should send it to PCGS immediately. This coin could be worth $21000 to $68000 depending on if it comes back MS65 or higher, as this minting facility was known for producing imperfect strikes, and finding coins from the New Orleans mint in this year, in this grade is near impossible, as they do not exist. This coin will come with the plastic sleeve it has been stored in. Please note: There are black ink marks on the obverse of this coin and they have not been washed off, to maintain the numismatic value of this coin.
